This trick can hide properties option when you right click on my computer
Valid for Windows XP only
Click start button & click run
type "Regedit" in run box & press OK
Registry editor will show up in windows explorer fashion
left section will show location of regitry entries
right section will show contents of current registry entry
For all users
in left section go to following place
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Explorer
For current user
in left section go to following place
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
in right section right click & create new or modify existing DWord value called "NoPropertiesMyComputer"
value=0 show properites option when you right click on my computer
value=1 hide properites option when you right click on my computer
