  • Melt Your Hearts.........

But what is it that shows whether our hearts are hard or soft? A Muslim can comply with all instructions on prayer (Namaz) and fasting, make a Hajj and pay charity (Zakat), but he may still remain hard-hearted. What does that mean? You shall know, o my Muslim brother, that if you are indifferent towards the troubles and needs of other Muslims, if you are not concerned and not trying to help, then you are hard-hearted.

Today Muslim blood is being shed in many corners of the globe. The situation is difficult everywhere. The enemies are using all kinds of methods to break the spirit of Muslims and to humiliate them.

    In
Chechnya there are filtration (concentration) camps, where people undergo all kinds of severe tortures. And even though most of the inmates are men, there are still many women and children who end up in these camps. If a person gets lucky enough to get out of there alive, all of his internals are smashed after beatings and his entire body is covered with traces of tortures. And kafirs (infidels) are not even trying to make it too much of a secret.

The facts of taking Chechen children hostage were made widely known. The journalists were writing about these horrors from what the victims or their loved ones told them. For example, children ages 10-12 including girls were held in Chernokozovo camp. They were being tortured and beaten. One 14-year-old girl was being raped for four days in a row. Pregnant women were among the inmates too, one of them was eight months pregnant.

O, Muslim brother! If this were your sister, your wife or your mother, your heart would have been boiling with anger and you would have wanted to take revenge immediately. But when you listen about these things happening to other Muslim women, if you react with no such emotions and if you are indifferent to it, then your heart is covered with a thick layer of ice.

    One elderly woman from
Palestine was holding a photo of her 12-year-old son and telling that Israeli soldiers broke into her house. Only women were in the house. The soldiers started threatening them and that 12-year-old boy jumped out from another room, grabbed whatever he could get his hands on and pounced on the soldiers. They shot him twice. The neighbors heard the noise and came running to that house, but the soldiers threatened them and would not let them call the ambulance. They stayed there until the boy died. In places like Palestine, Chechnya or Afghanistan children are becoming Shaheeds (Martyrs), Insha Allah (God Willing).

Mecca and were on their Hijra for the sake of Allah, they were leaving their homes and their property behind in order to maintain the main thing: the Faith. So what did the people of Medina do? Each Ansar would invite a Muhajir (a settler) to his home, and would share his shelter, his piece of bread and his plate of food with him like with his own brother.
