    AUR YE RAHEE AHEM MERI ENTRY :lpop:

    CHINESE ORIENTAL CHICKEN SALAD


    Ingredients:
    6 boneless chicken breast
    1lb coleslaw
    6 scallions(green onions)
    2 packets ramean noodles (oriental chicken flvr)uncooked
    1/2 cup slivered almonds
    1/4 cup sesame seeds


    Dressing:
    2 packets of spice from ramean noodles packet
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    6tbs veg oil
    6tbs rice vinegar
    1 tbs sesame seed oil
    1/4 cup sugar

    Method:


    broil chicken until cooked and let cool and shred into small pieces

    mix the cole slaw in a tray then crumble/crush the ramean noodles over it then cut scallions up and add and toast the sliverd almonds on a dry fry pan and add then do the same for the sesame seeds .... add cooked/shredded chicken ..mix dressing in seperate bowl mix and then add on top....mix and enjoy.....yummy !!!

    Mushroom Foo yung

    Ingredients:
    4 Eggs, lightly beaten
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Ginger, ground
    1/2 c Chicken, cooked, finely chopped
    1 c Mushrooms, sliced
    1 c Bean sprouts, fresh
    2 Green onions, finely chopped
    1 Celery stalk, finely chopped
    Cooking oil
    Soya sauce
    Serves 6

    Method:
    In a medium-sized bowl beat together all ingredients except oil and soya sauce. Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet (or Wok) at medium heat. Drop large spoonfuls (about 2 tb or 25 ml) into skillet.Cook, turning once, until lightly browned. Repeat until all egg mixture is used. Serve with soya sauce.

    Chinese Pancakes

    Serves 10

    Ingredients:
    2 c flour
    1 c boiling water
    2 T dark sesame oil

    Preparation Time: 30 min

    Method:
    1-Add water to flour in a bowl and work with a wooden spoon into a dough. Knead 10 min. and let rest for 10 min.
    2-Form into a long roll about 2" in diameter. Cut into 1/2" pieces and flatten to 1/4". Brush a little oil over a piece of dough and lay another piece over it.
    3-Roll out with rolling pin, slowly and from the center out, until the piece is 4" or more in diameter. Proceed until all dough is rolled out.
    4-Heat un greased griddle over low flame and add dough circle. When it bubbles slightly, turn it over n heat the other side. While it is still warm, pull apart the two halves and fold at the center with the greased side inside. Repeat with remaining dough circles.
    5-Steam for 10 min. before using as above.

    Chop Suey

    Ingredient:
    1 Lb. ground lamb
    1 Lb. ground beef
    1 Bunch celery
    1 Large cabbage
    1 Large onion
    1 Large bell pepper
    1 Can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 C. water
    1 Tsp. soy sauce
    1 Dash salt
    1 Dash black pepper
    2 C. raw rice

    Serves 1

    Method:
    Brown ground lamb and ground beef. Drain and set aside. Chop celery, onion and bell peppers. Cup up cabbage; boil until tender and drain. Place in layers, bacon and ground beef, onion, bell peppers, cabbage and rice. Add seasonings and soy sauce. Pour tomatoes with juice and water over mixture. Either cook in oven 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees or pressure for approximately 25 minutes.
