Acc. to my knowledge Islam Hijab for a woman requires covering of whole body except hands and face

In Medina, there was a big population of non-Muslims. These were trouble makers and used to tease women. When questioned they used to claim that had they known that these were Muslim women, they would not have teased them.in Soora Al-Ahzab, Allah asked Rasool-Allah to tell your wives, daughters and other Momin women to wear their Hijab (over-all, apron upon a loose cloth over your clothes), so that they could be recognized and not be disturbed The next verse says that if they still continue to tease the women, treat them like criminals. It is clear, therefore, that the reason of wearing Hijab is so that they could be recognized and nothing more.

SURAH AHZAB :59
O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad).That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allahis ever Forgiving, Merciful.


SURAH AHZAB :60
If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee onagainst them, then they will be your neighbours in it but a little while.

this was to show the background of concept of Hijab. Now study of SUrah Noor reveals that HIJAB means to follow a complete code of conduct.

Dr. Zakir Naik explains it very comprehensively as

in SURAH NOOR before Quran discusses Hijab for women it say about men as below:

SURAH NOOR :30
Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo! Allah is aware of what they do.

Certainly we ought to cover ourselves but nowhere it's stated that face and hands must be covered as well. now this is one's own discrimination how they follow it. Islam ain't a rigid religion. I don't understand why don't we follow a modest approach in everything.

is lia kay hum jis sociaty mai rehtay hay waha niqab karna zarori hay chahay kisi ko pasand ho ya nahi hum ney baht sey logo ko deka hay jo kehtay hay kay pardah dil ka hona chahiyee etc etc woh baat bilkul teek hay Allah swt dilo kay haal behtar jantay hay isi lia is ka hukum aya hay Surah e Nisa mai jesy baqi chezo ka hukum hay namaz ka rozey ka etc tho pardahey ka hukum bhi Quraan e Paak mai aya hay'tho jis sociaty mai itna kuch kharaab horaha hay us sey apney aap ko bachana zarori hay haa agar sociaty teek hay tho niqaab nahi bhi karay wesy bhi urat ko ek heeray sey tashbi di gai hay aur heeray ko hamesha hifazat sey rakna chahiyee aur Hijaab ya Niqaab urat ki khobsurti mai izafa karthay hay

Naqab or scarf gives a security, regards, respect and beauty look in simplicity, also it keeps away from evil eyes
