Our peon Sakhidad told me that his 3 days absentee was due to attendance of his 10 guests villagers who had come to Karachi from interior sind to avail last hand shake with one of their family member in jail. The accused was decided by court to be hanged next day as such this was final visit of family members. Sakhidad had to accompany them being a host. He further told that this murder case was heard in different courts for years and one by one, every court declared him guilty and decided his hang till death. Sakhidad says that not only the family members of the accused, all villagers were knowing that the accused was not involved in that particular murder case as he was far away from his village where murder case occurred. However, throughout a long period of hearing, the accused was continuously telling that he will never be pardoned, he will definitely be hanged and he himself wanted this to be done.
Yesterday, during our final visit, I asked him about the secrets of his forecast about the punishment and his satisfaction over it. The accused said, Sakhidad, since today is the final day of my life, let me include you in that secret which is known to me only.
Before completion of one year after that, I was informed by my family members that I have been reported as accused in a murder case occurred in our village. I said yes, I have committed a murder case but not in the village where every one is a witness to my absentee but the case of Guromandar where there was not witness but the Great One Allah. It is why I have always been telling that I will be hanged. It is the decision of Guromandar Case decided by a Highest Authority. It can never be waved off by any court even not by President of Pakistan through mercy appeal. AND HE WAS HANGED.
